![]() ![]() Now you have a backup copy of your “uchange.tlx” file. This will create a file called “uchange – Copy.tlx” in your Eudora program folder. The simplest way to do this in Windows Explorer is to highlight the file and then to type Ctrl-C (copy) and then to type Ctrl-V (paste) to create a copy in the same folder. Make a backup copy of the “uchange.tlx” file. ![]() This file contains all of your manually accepted spell checker words. Next and again in your Eudora program installation folder, find the “uchange.tlx” file. I am simply curious if you perhaps downloaded any additional spell check dictionaries from Eudora’s web site years ago and installed them. If you find one and there is anything in the line after “MainLexFiles”, please post what it says after the “=” sign. Search for any “MainLexFiles” line in the Eudora.ini file. In that folder, find and open Eudora.ini in Notepad or in any other text editor. With Eudora not running, go to your Eudora program’s installation folder. I suggest using these settings for spell checking. The attached screen capture shows my Eudora spell checker settings.
